With the bank switch for additional operating levels, the function range of your radio control can be conveniently and easily extended.
Your advantages:
- You can use more control functions with the same transmitter design.
How it works:
- The switch to another level is made with a button or a switch.
radiomatic® CPS allows the operator to change the battery of the radio system without interrupting the power supply of the transmitter.
Your advantages:
- Interruptions resulting from changing the batteries no longer occur.
- This feature is perfect for applications where long and continuous crane or machine operation is required.
How it works:
- With radiomatic® CPS, the transmitter has an additional, built-in battery.
- If the battery is low, the system automatically switches to the built-in battery.
- The radio system stays activated, and the operator has enough time to change the battery.
- Battery indication is given by two LEDs, so the operator can see when a battery needs to be changed.
optojog is an innovative operating element for the control of a variety of machine functions. This new feature is available with various versions:
- For setting a switchable output value ("Value Select").
- For the preselection of operating modes ("Mode Select").
- For choosing and controlling the direction of travel ("Steering Control").
How it works:
- optojog comes with 24 detents spanning its complete 360° rotation and up to 12 LEDs can be positioned around circumference of the switch.
- By illuminating in green or red, they indicate the position and status of the respective optojog functionality.
- In addition, the operator can customise the available functions using machine feedback. For example, certain values can be locked, and the red LEDs illuminated to indicate which values cannot be selected.
Benefits at a glance:
- Infinite rotation allows for convenient and intuitive operation.
- Status indication via coloured LEDs.
- Customised labelling of functions available on the transmitter's front panel.
- The operator can choose between saving the selected position or setting a default value when the system is restarted.
Application options:
- Serves as an intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) for the operator.
- Allows for interactive machine control and customised user control.
- Offers additional safety. For example, machine feedback can be used to automatically lock functions.
With HBC-radiomatic's new Position Hold input element, pre-setting target values or speed settings can now be implemented even more intuitively.
- When operating machines, it is often necessary to specify and maintain precise target values over a long period of time.
- For example, drilling speeds and feed rates are often preselected for large drilling equipment. The values then typically remain unchanged over extended periods as the drilling process is completed.
- With such requirements, operation via a conventional joystick can quickly become tiring for the operator. This can lead to incorrect operation, especially during longer periods of use.
- The operator always has visual feedback to indicate where the operating element has been set.
- Position Hold is the optimal solution for these and other applications.
How it works:
- Position Hold is a new HBC-radiomatic operating element based on our proven linear levers.
- Unlike the standard version, the linear lever remains in the selected position.
- A large deflection range of 30° allows precise selection.
- The operator always has visual feedback to indicate where the operating element has been set.
- An integrated damping element ensures smooth and comfortable operation and keeps the lever in the selected position after the release.
- A centre detent haptically indicates the zero position.
Examples of use:
- Intuitive speed or direction pre-selections can be enabled for rail or ship applications.
- In the field of drilling technology, the Position Hold function can be used for the precise setting and adjustment of critical feed rates and speeds.
Function Select adds the possibility of integrating additional functions into the HBC-radiomatic joystick.
Benefits at a glance:
- The operator can directly activate the control functions of a push button or toggle switch without the need to adjust their grip or release the joystick, ensuring uninterrupted directional control.
- This makes operation particularly simple and intuitive, and the increased functionality built into the joystick also saves space on the transmitter front panel.
How it works:
- The input element for Function Select is mounted directly on the joystick.
- The element is equipped with 2 switching contacts: 1x pull, 1x push.
- Various switching configurations are possible in either momentary (return to centre) or maintained (stays switched).
- Simply pull or push the input element to activate the switching positions.
- A durable aluminium front panel with 2 fields labels the functions.
- 2 LEDs on the input element indicate the switching positions.
Typical applications:
- Driving/mobile machinery with additional functions or attachments: controlling drives via joystick, activating the attachment via Function Select.
The focus T is an external RF module which ensures a perfectly working radio connection even under difficult conditions and over long distances.
Your advantages:
- Obstacles that impair the radio link can be efficiently avoided, and long distances can be bridged without a problem.
How it works:
- Depending on the working conditions, up to 15 modules can be installed in different positions.
- As additional radio receivers, they receive all commands from the radio transmitter and relay it to the central receiver.
- The data is analysed and then sent as output commands to the machine.
Your benefits:
- Certain application scenarios may require controlling a machine from a physically separated area – for example, when the operator is in a cab or a protected control room.
- Such a physical separation can impair transmission of radio signals.
- focus E ensures a perfectly working radio connection even in such challenging conditions.
How it works:
- The external radio module is installed as a separate external antenna outside the work area where the radio link is impaired and in an ideal position near the radio receiver.
- By means of cables, the operator can connect the module to the radio transmitter and the voltage supply.
- Focus E will send the control commands to the radio receiver and thus neutralise the shielding effect of the cab or control room.
